Post-Christmas Post

Well, it’s late night/early morning on the day after Christmas and I should be asleep. Just got the urge to write something so I figured I’d blast out some words before another attempt at rest.

Christmas is over. It’s come and gone again but I appreciate the break and the relaxation from the hell that was this past semester. With all that stress built up its been nice to unwind for a few days. Been spending time with the family and eating too much (made a dish, sausage and cheese wontons) and we did the whole gift giving thing. Very excited about the new computer that’s on it’s way (27” iMac) since my laptop has decided to do everything but burst into flames lately. I can’t wait to finally make the switch to iOS full time.

Everything is going well (or good, I would say, just to bug Mimi.) Speaking of my better half, she’s enjoying the holidays with her family back home. Couldn’t talk her into ditching them and spending Christmas with us, imagine that. She hasn’t gotten her gifts yet but I’m excited since I love giving her things. Hopefully she’ll pat me on the head and tell me I did well even if she doesn’t like the stuff.

Anyway, short update. After the last semester, all our personal video projects were put on hold due to school film obligations but hopefully we’ll be able to pick up and work on some of the projects we’ve be milling around on in the background. Once Nicholas and myself are back and in sync I’ll write more.

So, that’s it for now. More infrequent posts whenever.

Also, WoW update, our raid team is 7/8 normal mode for the latest content. Seems like our hard work has been paying off. We were within a few hours of some server firsts. Hit me up if you want my ReadID.

Another late night post

Very restless. Maybe I need a diary. I feel like writing so it would make me feel better to get it out but I don’t feel like sharing with people who know me. Some stuff is a little private. Maybe I’ll start an anonymous blog or something. I guess I just like the idea that someone somewhere is listening to my bitching.

On a side note, new project. Teaser soon. That’s all for now.

I’m tired but I can’t sleep.

Even after taking my sleep meds. Guess I just have a lot on my mind tonight. I feel so drowsy but I can’t bring myself to pass out. So here it is, 5am, and I’m writing for the first time in a very long time. So, how about an update?

First off, I’m doing better. Went to the doctor a month ago and got on some new migraine meds. They’re great. Working to keep my headaches down to a minimum. Also got on some natural supplements that have really helped my sleeping (except the last few nights) and it’s been pretty nice.

On the relationship side of things, Mimi and I are still together. Yesterday it’s been “officially” a year. I say it like that since neither of us know when we exactly started dating so we just guessed on the 20th. But she’s great. Somehow she puts up with me and I do love her. I think she’s rather fond of me too. Lol

My younger sister just started college so that’s been fun. Get to see her more now. Sadly she’s busy and actually does her homework so I don’t see her as much as I’d like to but that’s cool.

Nick and I are still making films. Unfortunately we got into separate labs (his being much better than mine) but I’m actually trying to help with his projects for fun. Some of the stuff that was shot for a chase scene the other day looks unreal. I can’t wait to do more. In my lab we’ve got to make a program that will air on tv (WUFT-tv) so it’s cool I’ll get to see that.

Besides that, not much else going on. Hopefully, I’ve got my thoughts in order enough to sleep but if not, I might just stay up. Who knows? Not I.
